We have highly qualified yoga teachers who are either certified in Children's Yoga Instruction, or who have spent years teaching school children, raising their own kids, or all of the above! In this class, we explore, imagine, sing, and play while learning yoga poses, breathing, and creative movement. During each fun adventure, children experience the endless benefits of yoga…focus, balance, relaxation, connection, and building strength.
AGES: 6-12 WITH A PARENT / GUARDIAN
DATES: Sundays, January 3 - February 7, 2016 (6 week session)

1) 3-Class Family Yoga Pass for $51 (save 15% over the single class rate!)
- allows you to drop-in any 3 classes during the 6-week session
2) Single Class Drop-in for $20 (or, one parent and two children - $29)
Family Yoga offers kids a chance to practice yoga with their family members. The class emphasizes interactive and partner yoga poses for kids and adults to do together. It blends physical strength-building postures, breathwork, flexibility, coordination and relaxation, providing pre-teen with a special place to explore these physical and emotional shifts within themselves. This will help them center into the teen years with a healthy attitude towards themselves, self-awareness, confidence, self respect and respect for others, and a strong sense of community, while also forming relationships practicing with their family memebers. Hopefully laughing a lot! No prior yoga experience is necessary.
For pre-teens who want to build physical strength and improve their flexibility, this class offers a yoga practice that will help kids challenge themselves in a healthy way. In addition to a physical practice that strengthens and stretches their bodies, students will enjoy the benefits of relaxation at the end of each class.
BIG KIDS YOGA
In a non-competitive environment, kids ages 7-10 will be introduced to an array of yoga postures, breathing awareness and meditation. Yoga helps improve children's concentration, balance, and flexibility while increasing their strength and ability to relax.
These yoga skills create the foundation for a lifetime of health and wellness!

MY CHILD IS OVER AGE 12. WHAT CLASSES CAN THE OLDER KIDS TAKE?
Kids age 13-16 when accompanied by an adult, may attend an adult class.
Kids age 17-18* may attend an adult class on their own
