Class Descriptions

Yoga 4 Beginners- Introduces new and continuing students to the fundamental principles of alignment and breath in the basic standing poses. Emphasis will be on opening and strengthening the shoulders, back and legs leading to increased body awareness and ease.
Flow & Go - A one-hour class that gets your heart pumping and and your mind focused. Just what you need before the weekend festivities begin. (M)
Guided Meditation - Practice quieting the mind and learn to experience stillness actively. Experience peace within and without and with each other through guided meditation. (M)
Hatha Yoga - A traditional style of yoga. Considered a preparatory stage of physical purification that the body practices to reach meditation, this style emphasizes mind-body connection and proper alignment. (M)
Hot Vinyasa - This class offers a lively, energetic, flow in a hot room. Designed with a cardiovascular workout in mind, this class will guide you through flowing posture sequences built around sun salutations. You are guaranteed to sweat and explore more endurance, strength, and flexibility through the power of movement and coordinated breath work. The heat is both a way to hone your concentration and to release toxins naturally. (M, H)
Kids Yoga (Gogo Yogis: 7-12 yrs) - Kids and tweens are empowered through yoga poses, breathing, and activities to build strength, concentration, balance, and flexibility. In a non-competitive environment, we create the foundation for a lifetime of health and wellness.
Kids Yoga (Mini Yogis: 3-6 yrs) - In this 45-minute class, we explore, imagine, sing, and play while learning yoga poses, breathing, and creative movement. During each fun adventure, children experience the endless benefits of yoga…focus, balance, relaxation, connection, and building strength.
Prenatal Yoga - In a safe space, learn exercises and breathing that help women in every stage of pregnancy to feel more comfortable, healthy, relaxed and confident about labor and birth. Bond with your soon-to-be baby and other mamas as you prepare for childbirth and enjoy the (sometimes challenging, but always blessed) journey along the way.
Restorative - Experience the healing benefits of deep relaxation. Let go for long periods (up to 15 minutes) in deeply supported postures. Discover how "carrying ourselves" through life can ingrain breath-inhibiting and relaxation-inhibiting habits. (M)
Vinyasa - Slow down the breathing while picking up the pace. Designed with a cardiovascular workout in mind, this class will guide you through flowing posture sequences built around sun salutations. Flow in and out of postures while finding alignment in each one. Explore more endurance, strength, and flexibility through the power of movement and coordinated breath work. These music-filled classes are imbued with a playful approach to exploring your body and mind, and balancing effort with a sense of lightness and curiosity. (M, H)
Yoga Unwind - This class is for people who are new to yoga, practitioners (advanced & new) who want to deepen their practice, and people working with physical issues (like neck & shoulder stress, back and hip pain, tight hamstrings, & posture problems). In an unhurried therapeutic way, we explore the many layers of a yoga pose, including breath, bandahs, and energy work. Receive individualized attention in a light-hearted setting and release deep tension. Come unravel what you thought you knew about yoga.
